Im now doing Home Improvement, Although I will still specialize in tile i am now doing complete bathroom makeovers, painting and general carpentry, I fix sticking or hard to close doors, patch holes in walls, replaced rotted wood, turn an ugly carpeted stairway into a wood stairway showcase. Replace doors and trim.

Why thinset under backer board is important.

Thinsetting backer board is a must, the thinset will act as a filler in areas that are low. ( without thinset backer will eventually start flexing and allowing tiles to pop up or come loose ).
